About Us

THE ANGOLA SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH NETWORK or “ARN” is a free initiative that brings together the community of academics and researchers, belonging to institutions or independents, who develop their work about Angola.

Having no university or ideological affiliations, nor any profit-making purpose, it is not defined as a legal organization or association, but rather as a global critical mass of academics who study Angola, disseminating their work, facilitating their communications, promoting the exchange of experiences, and participating and organizing events.

As far as there is an area of science in which we intervene, ARN focuses on the social and human sciences related to Angola, whether in politics, law, economics, history, sociology, anthropology or culture.

It is our intention that this network will become known for its efforts to facilitate ties with the communities of researchers in Angola, and thus serve as a basis for successful collaborative work between academics for future generations.
